PRE-SCHOOL Print E-mail

Parents, welcome to our last month of school! I cannot believe it is almost over already but it is that time of year! With the end of the year comes a lot of extra activities!

June starts out with our Rummage & Bake Sale and Chicken BBQ on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th. We are still looking for donations for the rummage sale if you have anything you would like to get out of your house. We also
need people to work the rummage sale so if you can help, please let me know. All you have to do is collect money! Finally we need bakers, and a lot of them! Please ask if you have questions.

Next off, on
Monday, June 7th we are hoping to take a field trip to the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park with the Kindergarten and 1st grade class. It will be an all day trip and probably our last one of the year for the MWF class. Look for the paper that comes home on it.

The next June activity happening that you need to be aware of is Parent Teacher Conferences for MWF parents. If you are planning on sending your child to Kindergarten in the Fall I will have conference times available for you so we may discuss kindergarten readiness. The sheet will come home soon so you may request your time from those available.

We will wrap up our school year with a very busy week starting on
June 15th. This is Graduation night and closing program for all 20 preschoolers! Please have your children to the Pre-K room between 6:45 and 7PM. It is not necessary to show up earlier. We will start our program promptly at 7PM (or as promptly as you can motivating 20 pre-schoolers!). On Wed and Thurs, June 16th &17th, there will be NO SCHOOL for Pre-K just like in years past. However, on Friday, 6/18, all Pre-K children are invited back for our field day for a day of fun in the sun! Lunch will be provided if it is something your child will eat. More information is in the article section of the Knightly News.

And if Friday isn't enough fun for all, Saturday we have a Strawberry Festival float. Anyone interested in having themselves or their child ride on the float needs to see Miss Pawlak.

Finally, thank you all for a wonderful year! I have enjoyed working

with your children very much and I really appreciate all the parent support and help. Please make sure to tell Mrs. Robinson that you enjoyed seeing her again this year and hopefully you can say thanks to Miss Rachel at Graduation. Have a great summer and I hope to see many of you in the fall!

Blessed Be,
~Miss Schendel
