He is risen! Alleluia! I hope you all had a safe and restful Easter break and that you got to spend time with friends and loved ones. After arriving in Texas without my luggage I was very thankful to have it arrive the next morning and to have it come back with me on my return flight! Be prepared for lots of activities coming up in April! It is a long month with no breaks so I hope that the weather cooperates and we can get a lot accomplished this month. We will start the next unit in reading with the MWF class and maybe even move on to the next one. Thank you all for helping your children complete the worksheets I sent home over vacation. That should have brought us up to speed after all of our snow days and 2-hour delays. The overall theme for April will be spring-type things. We will talk about April showers, flowers, and spring insects. We will also talk about Earth Day and recycling, as well as Arbor Day. We also have the Fine Arts Fest on Friday, April 11th. I will be looking for some snack helpers that night so if you are interested, please let me know! Please plan to attend that night as it is in lieu of our usual Spring Program. You will also get to see a lot of the artwork and craft projects we have been hiding away and not sending home! Thank you to all of you who helped out with Easter candy, stuffing or hiding Easter eggs, and helping for parties and the Easter luncheon. With out your help, these activities would not be possible! Finally, if you have any photos for this year’s yearbook please get them to me no later than Monday, March 31st as I will be sending the yearbook out to the company on Tuesday. I will be putting the finishing touches on it that Monday. Some dates to remember:
